This work explores the wrack zone as both an originator of early complex life and a site were material remains of global trade wash up. Produced using seawater, bitumen, and gouache, these preliminary drawings imagine amorphous forms that exist between biology and geology, waste and treasure, petrification and liveliness, emergence and decay.
