Monument Creek Studies, 2025

These studies were made after several years of visiting the Monument Creek Wildfire site in sn̓ʕay̓ckstx territory, BC. The warm tones derive from unprocessed pigments naturally available in the area. The studies were made with charcoal, ash, carbonized soil, ochre rich soil, tansy, blue elderberry, alder and fireweed. These were preparatory works for Wildflower/Wildfire Atlas.
